That picture reminds me of this guy I shared a flat with for about a month when I moved to London – Architecture Student, mom and pop had bought him a flat. When I check the place he hadn’t moved in yet, by the time I move in he now has two pictures on the wall – one a poster of Sting in the movie Dune, resplendent in the full on leather cheese outfit, and the other of Maggie Thatcher…

At the time the Geoffrey Archer trial was just beginning and I remember saying to my flatmate that I reckoned he was going down. To which he replied, he won’t go to prison, he’s got too much money. Eh you mean the quotation marks... Ironically they've actually come out properly - when quoting text you are supposed to use the 66 99. But most people just use the apostrophe...

I have just used the apostrophe mark on the keyboard, but it's come out as 6 and 9 marks...

grobs, you were probably holding down the option key as opposed to the shift key when typing.
I know that the option key will create those characters on a mac.

maybe its a device font peculiarity, a lot of clients on macs give me copy with proper quotation marks in, but I have to change it to apostrophes for the web.
