using Reaktor=
through talking with deccard he has sparked a interest in this program i have heard about for awhile.ive got the program, but am having some issues.my basic query is where can i find some decent imformation on how to use this program and resources with tutorials.now this is a premature thread considering i havent done that much research in the native web site,but as a prelimenary question maybe you guys can help.now deccard is using a logic platform,but in theory i can use it in any enviroment accepting plug-ins.correct?thanks guys [pille']

cubase vst is even 'more compatible' as a vst host than logic because steinberg made the interface themselves, but of course you can use reaktor with any host. there are some reaktor tutorials on the NI site and of course you can use any general modular synthesis tutorial as well.

i have some slight problems sometimes using midiclock synced sequencer in reaktor(running as vst-plug) synced to logic. but it works in generally and i´m not up to date with my version....
so cubase is "more compatible" than logic but who uses cubase anyway ![]() |

If you want tutorials I can recommend the wizoo book, check out the native site for that. Has anyone bothered with the new soundbank for reaktor "electronic instruments vol1"? Is it anything remarkable enough to shell out extra for??

I do... $?! If VSTi's are your main sound sources Cubase SX is THE way to go. yeeeeah, let's have a cubase vs. logic slamming match ![]() @Jamyna: I wouldn't bother with those..... if you look at the information on the NI website, doesn't seem all that exciting to me... nothing there that you can't do yourself or that hasn't been covered by ensembles in the user library yet. |

@triptonizer: why should we argue? we could start with that after steinberg implemented some decent eq-algorithms in their programs.
those nuendo/sx eq´s compared to logic eq´s are *cough* *cough* not hm so good as they could be. ![]() but i guess its ok for such bread and butter mixes ![]() |

free upgrade, thats cool. you got any infos when it's coming? i wonder what they'll do different in version 4, hopefully they solve the knobs-problem i have - everytime i build a structure, the knobs and stuff in the panel is anywhere but where it should be. lots of drag- and scroll-action needed everytime which pisses me off a bit. anyone facing the same problem? |

at least it could put them a bit closer together. everyone is hanging around in a different corner. maybe they hate each other.
