After our team up with Eskrima which brought you Autechre, Numbers comes crashing back to reality with a special night putting the spotlight on one of Glasgow’s newest labels - Square Roots Music run by our good friend Gerry Daley. Much like The Bug and labels like Shockout, Square Roots is all about futuristic dancehall & roots sounds.

Playing live is the Village Unit (aka Production Unit, Rose & Sandy, The Village Orchestra) - the dancehall division of Marcia Blaine School for Girls, who’ve this year released an EP on Dalriada, solo projects on Stuffrecords, a Highpoint Lowlife compilation and are due to feature on the debut EP from Square Roots.

This months residents are Hyndlands own lords of the bling - Bobby Cleaver and Nok La Rok playing the usual mixture of shame filled electronics, electro, hiphop, r&b, techno and funk.
