Weird Sleep trigger
So I’ve just got back to my desk, to find my mate and colleague, slumped under his desk, sound asleep. He has two computers under his desk and he was testing some graphics cards, so was rooting around under the desk changing the cards. Now as it goes his other machine has no case cover it turned out the noise of the fan of his other PC actually triggered him falling asleep… this is because his Mother used to switch the hoover on to help him go to sleep and this has programmed some trigger in his head. He says that he even falls asleep if he tries to use a hair dryer…
Now that’s some weird fucking shit! |

That is fucking weird. My mum used to do that with the hoover (I think I was always destined to love noise music), but whirring doesn't knock me out.

I'm sure you can get things that generate white noise to aid sleep. Maybe they are just really sensitive to it?

Hoovers when you aer trying to sleep is one of the worst sounds possible, next to people talking loudly outside your door. Still you can't complain about someone else hoovering and cleaning up though.
