considering it's a behringer, what are the chances of it lasting more than a few weeks/months?
i was considering getting the bcr2000 but the behringer reputation for quality put me off it ![]() |

Yes, enough for me to doubt the quality of their products. I had a mx8000a 24ch/8bus (the so-called mackie 8 bus copy) mixer which died after about 8 months of use. Then there was the Behringer truth monitors which also developed a problem after about 6 months. The last one was the DJX700 mixer which didn't even take 1 month to start crackling. Luckily their products are cheap, so I was able to throw them in the bin, where they belong.

if u r cubase or nuendo user get a cheap steinberg houston, they are only 250 dollar 2nd hand and work ok ( bad is that they dont have rom or anything to handle updates ), but i work with it under nuendo and dont have problems with it, and since nuendo 2.02 u dont have the typical -3 dB point fader stop problem anymore

Even though it's Behringer it still looks like it might last longer than that Hercules one.

There seem to be a lot of people on the Logic Users group with problems with the latest Behringer range of 'B' controllers, they just don't tell you how the fuckers work.. very little application specific support, and no mac support.
I read enough to persuade me to get a second hand logic control instead of the BCF2000 or whatever it's called. |
