TSR Causes Near-Fatal Car Accident!

Yes, it's true.

Driving up to Glasgow on Saturday, Mr Michael Forshaw in the passenger seat, mad TSR live set booming out the stereo, I miss the turning we should take, try to take it anyway, and stack my car into the crash barriers. Car takes off, airbags deploy, and we fortunately don't hit anything else, and I can stear the car into the hard shoulder.

Nobody was seriously hurt (I have a graze on my arm from my watch strap), but a right pain in the arse, had to get a coach back to Bedford, which took 8 hours, and hopefully emef will be able to make his way back via train (sorry again for not being able to get you home).

Don't know what the damage is yet, hopefully it's not written off.

But I blame TSR's live set, which obviously being played too loud on our stereo, distracted me from careful and safe driving.

As for Glasgow, great party, lovely people, great to meet those of you I did meet, and sorry I didn't meet those I didn't. And cheers to stinkfinger for putting up with us last night/today.

yeah, it's only my car that's damaged, it doesn't really matter. I should be more upset about it, but at the end of the day, it's only stuff, I got home, and if I have written the car off, I can buy another one on the insurance money.

Crashed on Junction 15 of the M8. Following signs to the City Centre, then suddenly there weren't any signs for it. So took a quick decision to come off this exit from the middle lane, but didn't make it quite quickly enough.

Loz, when the car came to a standstill and you realised you were both (thankfully) unhurt, did either or both of you say "woah" in a Bill and Ted voice?

ANT: Think I might have, but if I didn't, I'm going to pretend that we both did, for comic effect.

We did still have techno blaring out the radio for a few seconds after we'd stopped, before I decided it was inappropriate and turned the engine off.

Moment of the weekend has to be Scott Confusion and Crystal Distortion having a massive substance-induced argument where they both agreed with each other.
