Ok,
the other night I was drunk and ended up at a heavy metal club (which was funny).
it was a good night, as I moshed and stuff and enjoyed being in the thick of mosh pit action.

atthe end of the night my friend went up to a girl and asked her her name. A bloke came over and started getting arsy, pushed my friend away and told him not to speak to her.
I stepped in and tried to prevent my friend from going in for the kill, but the bloke started on me.
he kept saying, stop looking at me or I am gonna hit you. I could see in his eyes that he was in no way going to punch me (he was loads bigger than me).
but I still reasoned with him, which was tricky, but I managed to difuse the situation. we even shook hands. but it was touch and go at points (especially when my friend kept butting in).

I think people like this are bloody idiots.
do you think he had reason to get so pissed off?

no he had no reason, prolly just insecure. I have had this happen to me loads tho, you are not alone. nice one for diffusing it, it aint always possible. Decadnids - peacemaker.

yeah, to be honest I could see that his "girlfriend" was pretty embaraced. she was only talking to someone after all, it wasn't as if she and my friend where "getting it on".

i think people like this are total arses. i would generally make a joke of it even if someone was touchin my gal. unless they were totally out of order and made her cry or something. but that's not likely as she can look after herself.
