I mostly did corporate server-side development - so no code in public, but I'm top 10% in python and java on stackoverflow.

Well, the first impression is long gone, but I still like it (almost nothing beats living close to the sea in warm climate). We did meet once, after your gig @ moog but you were surrounded by kyma geeks so I decided not to bother you too much ![]() You in Switzerland now, right? How is it? |

Cyanotype photograms are made with photo reactive chemicals and the sun using 1:1 negatives and/or physical stuff.. then washed off in water. Pretty cheap to do and doesn't really require a darkroom.

That monochrome blue is also one of those fantastic process based limitations that end up being inspiring.
Manually brushing on your 'frame' is also nice.. especially for those of us who do that kind of thing digitally in photoshop everyday. Its what i'do imagine mic'ing up a drum kit feels like. ![]() |

If you want to move to London I might have an interesting role for you, crap sun and no beaches, but great offices and perks and the security of an established household name. If anyone here is a JavaScript/HTML5 Developer with good OO experience please also contact me. I'm not a recruiter by the way, I'm looking for new members for my Front End team, and we are also looking for a Lead Java Dev and some strong Android Devs to add to our 20 odd existing development team. |

Buzz, your blog reminds me of Ignatius J. Reilly in Confederacy of Dunces ...
Employers sense in me a denial of their values. They fear me. I suspect that they can see that I am forced to function in a century I loathe. |

Just don't be insulted if you read it, your writing reminds me of the book, you don't remind me of Ignatius. Maybe you should read Boethius first, to cleanse the palette.
Don't read Confederacy of Dunces in public or you'll get funny looks for sniggering under your hand. I just read that John Candy was supposed to play Ignatius in a film version but died too soon. |

I done some stuff for kids :
http://creator.myths.e2bn.org/editor/demo http://creator.museumbox.e2bn.org/editor/demo http://mtn2.e2bn.org/mtn/ Those were built a few years ago but remain popular. I just finished building a new admin and moderation system for them. Lots of nasty stuff like shibboleth based SSO integration and central moderation of documents created on remote servers. And I did some online ads as well because im a sell out and the money was good. like this http://tinyurl.com/7yra76w and I did this KFP / Facebook thing : http://relivethefuture.com/work/abundant/kfp2/KFP3.html which was all dynamic and used your profile data, pictures etc. But it got pulled after a day because of disagreements between FB & Paramounts lawyers. So if anyone needs anything doing with flash, im yer man. |

I built a twitter bot for Jess Thom (@touretteshero).
It's here https://twitter.com/TicBot Everything it says is one of Jess's complex vocal tics that she's logged. It aims them at people according to various top-secret algorithms (i.e. randomly). I really love it... just cos Jess's tics are so fucking good and it ends up having very odd "conversations" with peeps. Also, it spots people talking about tourettes (usually as a pejorative) and jumps into their conversations with some random oddness and also mentions #touretteshero - hopefully some of them follow it up and learn a bit about it all. Jess's site's really good too.. I particularly like the gallery. I drew a horse in it http://www.touretteshero.com/gallery/?q=coward ........................... lovely cloakroom. lovely cloaks - barbam nondum video |
