I've been going through tons of Dats from a decade ago. Spdif transfer hasn't worked since the original machine is gone and the clock is freaking out now trying to transfer digitally..I've tried everyo combo of master/slave hook up too.
So I've just played them out the audio outs and recorded into my MOTU 828 mk2 @ 96/24 and it's working quite nicely. Stuff sounds better than those first nightmare transfer attempts for sure. |
