Barcelona

As a top present for my 30th birthday my lovely girlfriend got us a weeks holiday in Barcelona. We're going the last weekend of January and coming back the first of Feb.

Does anyone know if there's anything of interest going on during that time? My favorite things to do are look at pictures of animals in clothes, eat strange combinations of food and buy odd clothes from the past. Anyone have any hot tips? Aside from those It'd be nice to know some good bars/eateries/hangout spots. Also maybe some other good stuff I may otherwise not find out about.

not really much in the way of clothes, but at the excellent zoo you might get to see a monkey fight.

Great vegetarian all you can eat restaurant called 'Organic'. Went there with a couple of carnivores and they loved it too. When I say 'all you can eat' that includes big slad bar, pizzas and other main courses as well as tea/coffee and ICE FUCKING CREAM!!

Stay away from the Ramblas- it's like Leicester Square

Try to visit Parc Güell, it´s a nice park designed by antoni gaudi and you have a nice view to the city.

about the clothes : "Recicla Recicla " it's in a street which name is Riera Baixa n° 13...if you enjoy the clothes you'll like the bosses ' bar : Pilé 43 in the N'Agla street - just near the fucking Ramblas).
Concerning the food you can try a place calls Slokai in the Palau street or the Cosmopolita in the Muntaner street n°6.
Goods clubs : Nitsa club and the Loft.
