Yeah I reckon it's gonna be good un.

Anything has got to be an improvement on that TV film they made in 90's.

It was fucking awful.

The last series with Silvester McCoy in it was wicked though, Rememberance of the Daleks and the one with the Cybermen in it where boss.

McCoy was a lisping idiot. Colin Baker was rubbish, he made you ask yourself why you were actually watching the programme.

Tom Baker I hope you mean!! It is a close thing between TB and Pertwee for the best doctor.

Bracket, I reckon Ecclestone is up to the task....nice bit of casting if you ask me.

Tom baker was Dr Who.

Pertwee was also good, I liked McCoy and Davidson (a bit) Colin Baker was a twat though.

The 2 other guys William Hartnoll & Patrick Troughton where classic, but was too young to really remember them.

Apparentley Ecclestone has said it was his easiest and favourite role yet cos he reckons the character of Dr. Who is very close to his own character.

Another thing i heard is that in one episode there is to be a wheelie bin that comes to life and starts attcking people. Ecclestone has said that he wants every young school kid in the country to shat themselves everytime they look at a wheelie bin...

I'm not a total diehard, but I was very big on it when I was younger. I guess I have the benefit of catching Doctor Who weekends on digital from time to time, so I guess that is good enough. I don't really have any DVDs or anything like that though.

Tom Baker had quality timing, but he could also be well "out there" and sinister at the same time. I guess that is the qualities that made Dr Who for me, something I felt Peter Davidson lacked although he was the doctor I seen the most of in my childhood.

I thought that the Cyberman were coming back into this series? Perhaps I heard wrong then....glad to hear Eccleston fills the shoes well, he is a top actor.
