I just read the Dave Clarke interview where he mentions Bomb The Bass.
I'm looking for suggestions in pre-progressive house style breaks with raw samples/ sampling and not too rave sounding like the Prodigy, Altern 8 if you know what I mean (read examples below) early progressive house style breaks suggestions are also welcome.
Information Society Knife and a Fork, Hack.
The Scientist, The Bee Remix
Renegade Soundwave?
KLF The Jams?
Bomb The Bass?
808 State Timebomb
MC 900 Ft Jesus UFO's Are Real
Blapps Posse Bus it (time to get funky)
Meat Beat Manifesto, Babylon/ Helter Skelter
Radioactive Golfish, LSD is the...
Orbital, Satan
Frank De Wulf Acid Rock
DJ Digit & EFX (from San Fran early progressive house)

i just noticed bomb the bass had beat dis and megablast repressed
on simply vinyl
this reminds me of my youth playing xenon ii
they also had parliament - flashlight
and stevie wonder - superstition
none of these were listed on discogs and hence i never knew they existed
they even repressed nirvana unplugged in new york
if i'd known this shit was available i woulda been on it already

Not into Brit rap dance vocal tunes from that time period with exception of
Baby Ford.
I just thought of another one.

What's that other group Die Wartsaw?
They had a good album in the early 90's.
>the first few Guy Called Gerald Juicebox releases (Digital Badboy especially)
Not familiar with a lot of his records.
I saw him in a dance Mag back in the Mid 90's holding a Korg DDD-1 drum machine.
>early Rising High (Project One; Friends Lovers & Family; Hypnotist)
>Fresh 4 / Smith & Mighty / Wild Bunch
hmmm.. not familiar.

Early 90's techno breaks
I have this one... the sample "bring that back one more time BBAAHH" comes in later if i'm not mistaken - it's a total killer, but the names escaping me at the moment...there were so many killers around that time... I'll remember soon though. . .

Ah Joey Beltram.
As irony would have it Joey Beltram is doing a geust set (hardcore) on the tape where I got the early prog. house id's.
trk5 the industrial tune has been indentified as Meatbeat Manifesto and one of the progy house tracks has been id'd as Bonesbreaks#7. I think trk8.
Alright, sorry to beat this thread to death (bad pun intended)
