I was browsing this forum for nice tread and I'd found this shoocking one from Pille'ocheoni... He was trying to crack REASON...

What a shame is ain'it!?

Small company like the Proppellerheads are doing a lot of effort to find new tools for us. So at this price, Reason is not so expensive for what u get. With that money, they can do a lot of research and development and bring us new amazing software.

So please, do what u wan but we don't want to know that u are even so stupid to crack a software.

Shame on Pille'ocheoni!!!

If it weren't for paradox and radium this PC would just have windows on it.

Some of us poor underprivileged people can't afford to buy all this flash new software. ;)

i went to an art festival last year where they were running workshops on how to crack software... ... sum graffix apps, R sooo expensive the only posible way for sum-one to gain experience using them is to find a crack.... i kind of like the crack culture's anarchist - everyfink ffor everyone attitude...tho yeh the developers definitely deserve sum financial returns.. tho i 'm absolutely sure no one here would be upset about some one crackin a microsoft product.

do you take money from everyone you help for anything?
that´s a totally capitalistic thought and let´s have a look what capitalism has done to our world.
it´s ok to get some of the cake if you helping someone to earn money but who really earns money with his music/dj?

the digital revolution is forcing us to think in new ways.

smash the elite! :)

people who can afford it should buy it!!! otherwise that's lame !
but the one that canot afford it and realy can make music should use it! but I think someone that can afford a pc bigger than 1000 mhz can afford the software aswell or? my girlfriend has 300mhz and my pal a 400mhz I have none i can't afford one only have a soundcard I have no job (anyone need a workaholic email me) and I can't afford the software and since i'm 13 years old I never bought anything but 2 c-64 and can't remember anyone buying software that days no-one realy could afford it. I would buy it if could!!! but I could never buy all I have allready coz it's very much you know more then i can ever afford maybe and I think there are not so many people who know it exists otherwise the companies would be poor already. that's a reason to keep our mouths shot for the companies you know ! and I even know alot of crackers and coders who even do the software they used to crack and even code when they where young. just don't talk about it please! when we where on c-64 someone talking s... like this was called a lamer and so are you if you make this a topic! nobody is realy interested or?

ps.: I never earned a s... from my music it's in my blood!!!

pps.: EuTeRke hey, the site is not bad but the sign in the left bottom realy looks like funkstörungs style have a look http://www.funkstorung.de/ and I think for someone on a 300Mhz machine it's to slow you all have big machines now I'm getting old!

nah deccard 1. no i don't, and thats not the point. stealin has nothing to do with forcing the 'capitalism'.
brings me to point 2.: capitalism has nothing done to our world, only man does! even without 'capitalism' people would be egoistic and stupid.

was it schopenhauer who said "money is the greatest good because its the manifestation of peoples wishes" (or something like that, my translation isn't the best i think)?
the people are bad, not capitalism or money.
cap and money only shows it very clearly.

oh man i think a lil bit offtopic now..

even more off topic:

thats a good quote, but it doesn't apply when people are forced to prop up subsidised and protected big business ('the economy') via governments who are working for industry.

modern 'capitalism' has very little to do with capitalism

oh yeah, warez...i pay for what i can, but you wouldn't catch me paying hundreds of pounds for, say, office or photoshop, as long as i'm not using them for profit.

euterke, do you have office on your computer? did you pay for it? thats a rhetorical q cause walls have ears.

Didn't know that will be a big issue...

Yeah (lucid rinehead) I have to pay big money for the software in general... I had to pay big money for big corporate people like Bill with is infernal microsoft institution... I don't have choice as web developper everything will be check even with macromedia MX.

But with the tax report at the end of the year, I can get some money back.

But let say this... for people who had company this is normal that we have to pay for software cauz they are tools for our works and we got paid for. But what I've found bad was some people who produce album like Thomas Jirku and they are proud to say they were released with everything cracked.

So if we consider this... I'm sure the price of the software in general are over priced to balance people who don't buy software. And I have less money and can't affort to pay a car...

sorry i was a lil bit pathetic but still you have to face reallity.
ppl who can´t afford the software don´t buy it. so if they use a cracked version
the company doesn´t loose any money anyway.
so the companies get what they can get and say that poor people aren´t allowed to use their programs.
i say fuck that.
uups i´m getting pathetic again... :)
ok reallity isn´t that black and white but i think you get what i mean.

But then more ppl say they cannot afford the software! They’ll use the money for other things, perhaps a nice holiday and so on. For some people e.g. 1.000€ are too much and for others not, although they receive the same income. It’s a thin line.

My opinion is, if you earn money with the software you must pay for it!
The only thing the companies can do is to make a good password security or to appeal to the good side of us.

don´t get me wrong. i think too that if you earn money through others work it´s ok to pay for the software. you should spend your extra money for your tools.
the money i earned through my productions some time ago went into my beloved logic and hardware(as a hardware only user). at the moment i use software only but don´t earn a cent.

hm. maybe i should get back to good ol sexy hardware :)

i think it is a fallacy that prices are high because of piracy...certainly for the big guns like MS - They set their prices at the maximum they think businesses will put up with. If you are an individual you are meant to buy the crap 'home' or 'lite' version or put up with industrial strength overpricing.

somebody was saying they liked crack culture's everything for everyone attitude, but that isn't really the predominant trait, imho. really, it's more along the lines of a technical challenge. software companies produce copyprotections, often claiming they cannot be broken, and with that they call the crackers into the field. they don't really care what happens with the software afterwards, for that you have couriers etc. there was a really good article on the way a large warez group (dod) was built up from the inside some time ago, if I find it I'll post it.

A rule along the lines of "pay for it if it helps you make a profit" is good, but otoh there are tons of games that have had huge budgets and are pirated all the time without the bat of an eye. really I'm not trying to be any moral apostel becoz I'm in the wrong place to do so here, but things are quite skewed from both sides - some of the company pricing policies in the software field are really just criminal, and a good answer why the pricing policies are as they are is "piracy"...

In a near future, something will change... imagine yourself going thru proppelerhead website and use a password and a login name to access a Reason session for 1.99$ an hour...

So the crack culture will return in sitez culture!!! We will have to work hard to find password and login on the web... even it will do anything with a maximun session user verification.

i remember a newsgroup-thread ppl asked for the ni-user area password and in the end everybody was wondering why they got the
same user login/password from ni :)
anyway this sitez culture will maybe bring up password sites like
already for pornsites exist.
everything is crackable. even reality. lol
hm somebody should hack the gw-bush-drone.
