but it was so hot so i watched the parade instead, then stumbled about preston park and boiled alive.

yes, i used to go to riki tiks when rob was there...havent been in since actually, that was ages ago. when did you work at the fringe then?

when jon just started managing it (but before he took it over) he poached me from riki tiks. not sure it was one of his best business decisions as i remember being a bit of an irascible little shit when i worked there- needed to leave brighton basically and let everyone knew it. we made some good drinks there though dammit.

my only member of this event years past was going to the candy bar tent and bogling to r+b with my then girlfriend and her sapphic best mate. got proper drunk and ended the day being snuck into the candybar by said girls through the loos. i sported a long grey raincoat at the time so probably looked like a pervert but i remember the dj at the bar flashing me a knowing wink nonetheless.

no i don't think she was the marrying kind as they say. it was more an acknowledgement that she'd clocked me and that she wasn't going to set the guards on me. i did eventually and entirely amicably split up with her yes but this had nothing to do with it best i know.
