nice. but how long does it take until all software and driver updates will be ready? apples os policy looks quite weird to me since they came up with osx.

They give devs who sign up with the apple developer connection program beta test versions of the new os. So people can get to work before tiger arrives. Hopefully big companies will use the next 6 months to make sure everyting is cool in advance, smaller devs probably aren't signed up though as it's a bit pricey.

I prefer the incremental update policy apple have these days, you don't have to throw everything away and start again when a new os comes out. When i moved from jaguar to panther I didn't even have to backup my data, I just used the upgrade option on the installer.

Sure 64 bit, I like the look of xcode2 (I'm a coder so I care about stuff like that). Image and video units could be big. iChatters will love the multi video chat.
