They are perfect numbers,

A perfect number is one that can be reached by adding together all it's divisors excluding itself, ie//

6 = 1+2+3
28= 1+2+4+7+14

another sollution is:

1+2+3=6
1+2+3+4+5+6+7=28
1+2+3+4+....+29+30+31=496
1+2+3+4+....+125+126+127=8128
1+2+3+4+....+8189+8190+8191=33 550336

The significance of the numbers is maybe the combination of both.
