i seen them in glagow on tuesday. really really good live show. Didnt know they all basically played every instrument. Very talented musicians on everything. double drum action is amazin. v good!

i saw tortoise in st. louis back in 94 when they opened up for stereolab. they were never annouced, never on the flyer, nobody knew who they were, they just stepped up and rocked the show. fucking amazing! afterwords they sold cds and vinyl by the bathrooms, i didn't buy anything though, spent my money on a stereolab t-shirt.
