I currently use Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux and BSD

XP for my music machine, 2000 for my 'dicking around machine' currently doing not much more than burning cds, linux for supercollider, and bsd for my firewall/gateway

when I've got some cash, I'll probably be investing in a small powerbook, after everything else I want to buy, like a decent set of monitors.

I got it running, I downloaded and printed the fat manual you linked to, but yet to actually try anything. So I don't even know if it'll work yet. Plus I'm only running it on a P3 450 with a SB128, so it'll be interesting to see what it comes up with. I'm not one for pristine sounds anyway. I like it raw and dirty (oo-er).

I'm actually only running OpenBSD's PacketFilter for my firewall. Haven't downloaded anything not in the default install, haven't needed to. OBSD's packetfilter is the dogs bollocks in my opinion. Certainly does the job I want it to. People cannot even ping me, it just swallows the packets :)
