Boss of the legendary Rising High of Faceless Techno Bollocks infamy - this label was part of many UK techno heads musical education - it would be a fair bet to say many of us wouldn't be here now if it hadn't been for Pound's good ears.

sad news, i have nearly all the rising high releases up to around 1994
not to forget his legendary
homeboy hippie and a funky dred - total confusion
he put out a fair few classics, a sad loss to the world of music

Yeah I was obsessed with Rising High 91-94. There was some fine stuff on there, and he did a few wicked tracks as Hypnotist (espec Live In Berlin) and Rising High Collective. It's a sad thing.

I must admit to not being a fan of his productions but as I said on LD I still collect Rising High records now as I did then, and the legacy of the label is one of the furthest reaching of any electronic music label, ever. Classic upon classic, a real scene mover.
