Snooker

I'm watching the snooker right now, wondering to myself, why is Snooker so great?

I hate golf, cricket, bowls, tennis, all those really slow boring sports (for the record, I'm not a big fan of football, either, and I'll only watch Rugby if it's an international game), but something compells me to watch snooker when it's on, and even get quite excited about it.

Why? It is a very slow sport, not an awful lot goes on, besides the odd risky shot that is pulled off from time to time, but I really am rivetted.

Can anyone shed any light on why snooker holds my attention where more seemingly exciting sports like motor racing and naked bungie jumping cannot?

Typical American! If it ain't baseball, basketball or American Football (or 10 pin bowling but lets really not go there!) then it doesn't exist to them!

Snooker is for big wobbly poofters. I prefer manly sports such as AMerican Footbal, Ice Curling or Cricket.

Snooker's like pool but harder, cos the table's about 2 times bigger and there's more balls and rules and stuff.

yeah...my friend plays snooker,and once tried to explain me the rules...all i remember is that you have to hit red first and then colour one,red again....
But i still find it enjoyable to watch a game or to on Eurosport....it`s defo good for chilling after a hard day ;)

Ahh - the legend that is Bobby George - One of the original King's of Bling...

I love playing Pool, but yet I'm not quite a Snooker Head. One of my Uncle's who loves the game used to play in Snooker tournaments, and walked away with quite a few trophies... tried to get me into the game once, but it didn't catch - should try it again really.....
