went to see shaun of the dead the other day. i'm a zombie freak so i loved it. the thing is, the main character's flat had at least two si begg posters on the wall and the guys who lived there were also really into their electro. i was wondering if there is some sort of connection there? maybe si did some music for the film or something? is simon pegg a fan? i'm just curious. anyways, its a right laugh, go and see it.

Maybe he secretly is Si Begg in his acting career. Didn't Spaced have a lot of musical stuff which lay in that direction as well? I certainly seem to recall my old flatmates going on about the backing tracks all the time.

yeah, that struck me too pegg/begg. my imagination got a bit carried away with thoughts of them being alteregos. i dunno, maybe si begg does comedy acting in disguise on the side?

yeah, like i said, my imagination got a bit carried away. it is a good film though. the folks i went to see it with weren't that impressed but i loved it. it has everything i look for in a film: comedy, satire, romance, electro and, most important of all: zombies! every film should have at least one zombie in it. lol

Yeah...it was really funny. I especially liked the electro connection.
It's good that films are going through a zombie phase again even if some efforts are crappy.

It was a relief to see a good comedy after last week when I was forced to take my brother to starsky-and-f&&&ing-Hutch

watched it last night.. absolutely brilliant, loved every minute of it.

Amazing that every current British comedian seemed to be in it, with the strange exceptions of Bill Bailey and The Actor Kevin Eldon.

And, a quick question? Is Bill Nighy in everything right now, or is it me?

It does kinda seem that way, doesn't it? He's riding the wave, and winning at it too... didn't he get a (tv) BAFTA the other night? - I'm sure it was the same category that Christopher Eccleston was in for 'The Second Coming' (which was great)...

Shame he didn't win, mind

yeah, he got it for playing the Tabloid Editor in State of Play, which was absolutely brilliant, even better than The Second Coming, I think.

i really loved 'the second coming'
at the moment i`m a complete non believer but as sad as this may seem, i was really rooting for heaven to be proved, everyone to be saved and it all ending happily ever after.

in reality, who wouldn`t?
a place beyond this that isn`t a complete pain filled shit hole, yes please.

anyway
it was a top play but the end really pissed me off, god and heaven dead, we`re all on are own, yeah, fucking cheers mate, isn`t that what we have now and are fucking up?

anyway... chris eccleston rules, so did 'the second coming, apart from the end
i loved the pub bomb scene and the footie ground spot light miracles.

first time ever i think that i`ve jumped up from the couch and cheered for one or even two of gods mysterious ways :D
