depends when you're coming to brisbane and what stuff you wanna hear. Fortitude Valley is the main place for music - there's a few pretty tragic house clubs. 12th July weekend is the Valley Fiesta, which is a free festival and markets but nothing mind blowing - there'll be lots of people out. Black Lung is playing 13th July in Brisbane with other great local stuff - check the street press and listen to 4zzz radio (102.1 fm) for other stuff. have fun - sometimes there's great gigs on just have to look for em...;)

probably startin' out in sydney, you should drive up the east-side to beautiful sights like crecent head, surfers paradise, nimbin (weird hippie place) ......dunno about music, clubs, but drinkin' is national hobby nr. 1, so i guess you should find your way easily. smokin' material is also no prob to encounter.
