heya,
i'd like one, too, if you're feeling generous.
i'll even trade for it!
i don't live in sf either, but used to trip down there
for shows on a pretty regular basis back while i was
still pretending to be a music
student at the university of oregon.
if the whole teknival thing appeals to you at all,
bini(www.5lowershop.com) and aaron
(www.hyperreal.com/spaz) still throw amazing
freetkno parties on a regular basis, and are typically
open to hearing new things...
decidedly less hardcore, but still very underground and
just as nice as you like are cloudfactory, who host gatherings in and around northern cal/southern oregon. you might try sending an email to info@cloudfactory.org or something...
static used to be sf's sole clubnight dedicated to weird tkno sounds, following the demise of m.a.d., which may have been the bay area's first regular tkno thang ever. kit clayton, sutekh, and safetyscissors cut their teeth here, in addition to a host of others. not certain as to whether they're still active, tho it was a consistently wow-inducing night out when it did way back when...
hope this has been of help...
