Hi all...

I'm a relative noob to the board, and also a noob to Brighton. Given the birthplace of no future I guess there must be some folk around here from Brighton. In fact I know there are cos Emma said so! It'd be cool to meet some people anyways. I'm heading down to Wrong Music at the Volks tonight with a couple of mates... jungle/gabba/noise and - now forgive me if I'm being had - but someone said karaoke as well (?!). I love promoters with a sense of irony. Anyone in? And possibly more to the point, anyone have good knowledge of other electronica/lunacy nights?

BTW I put some clips of tracks up here about a week ago, so if any of you missed them, here they are again;). If all goes to plan they should be coming out on a label whose name might ring a bell...

:)

I miss brighton some times,
now i live in a little village...

anyhow Tim, Wrong music is a good laff, i played there a few times when it was in the freebutt, mainly improv / noise then, now they have gone the whole crazy hog. not been to it at volks tho,
should check it next time i am in brighton.

not listened to your clips Tim, but will do - from peoples feedback, they sounds pretty interesting.

I havn't moved to far away ;) am in north mundham, just outside of chichester, i come in to brighton one a week or so.

one thing i do miss, is feeling like going out and then just going out, living in a village means that i have to think about going out, and plan it, rather than just do it. but hey, it aint for ever ;)

Come down the Sanctuary Cellar, Brunswick Street East (Just off Western Road) on 27th March. Disco/Electro etc etc on 2 x record players. 7 til 11. Live act to be announced (Possibly Multiplex....)
Also my sort of leaving Brighton party. I'm off back to Manchester, which is kind of sad but also very good.

Hey G.... I broke my phone, but I'll try and pop in and see u tomorrow if your in NEH....

I miss brighton too - me and yeek are coming back soon - can't wait! Miss the walking round to people's houses to see their new art/hear new tracks, the sunday market, the cinematheque, the nudie beach, the market diner, the endless afternoons ranting with my mate Karen, the oxfam shop on western road, the screech of the seagulls...

Ahh... sorry, seemed to have done my disappearing trick...

Well I'm gonna have to get me some of this 'stupid shit' then, since it seems to be by far the most popular feature of Brighton.

Stupidists please get in touch!!
