any of you brighton lot know anywhere where studio space is plentiful?
a few people are asking who need it and there's nothing to be had at the metway where i am.

There's usually a space or two in New England House. But heard that it's pretty Expensive

I'm in NEH and theres always people up for sharing a large unit. Depends what it's for though. Music may be a difficult one .....

yes its music...there has to be some other studio spaces in brighton apart from the metway + NEH!
i was looking into getting myself a room at NEH, decadnids gave me some info and a space come up but it was so expensive, not just the room but the charges etc.

am in New england house, we share our studio so the price is pretty fine I reckon, if there are a few people sharing, its pretty reasonable.

Its something in the region of 90-100 quid a week for a 450 square foot, big space, there are 7 of us who share it (but not equally), and there is plenty of room. it is well safe, and you get 24 hour access.
we dont make too much noise, most of the time it is just us looking at computers and contemplating the meaning of a flashing cursor.
but there are "musick studios" there, and light industry, and other such stuff - and the building looks rubbish from the outside.
and you can skip paying rent now and again with out them getting to shitty (ho ho ho) as long as you sort it out tho.
Chungking spent some time in our space about a year or more ago.
