hotel pelirocco is interesting trendy hotel with rooms designed by jamie reid and stuff like that, its not THAT expensive - it hink you can get rooms for about £50 per night - but it will be busy, and also they require you to book two nights in all hotels / b+bs in brighton in the summer

the white house in kemp town is a recommended B+B

along the same lines as pelirocco but more expensive is blanch house in kemp town - a celeb favorite

a bit cheaper, but still nice and featured in eastenders trip to brighton last year is the Oriental hotel, off the seafront- site of the famous post freeking the frame after parties back in 1998 / 99

cant give you any numbers or anything right now but you should be ableto get all these from directory enquiries.

there are also quite a few backpackers where i think you can book double rooms

Thanks for those pointers emma.
I just got back from a lovely (but short) trip to Brighton & the weather was nice today! I couldn't in get any of those hotels in the end coz I could only stay one night, so we stayed in "Lanes" - bit dodgey but made me laugh! But lovely everything else, me missus and I will go there for longer in a couple of months, so If I'm more organised next time maybe meet some of you local heads.
