I went to the High Times Cannabis Cup in the Dam in 2002, it's big fuckin business now - like a proper trade fair, with thousands of stalls all wanting to give you a free puff on their gear. Smoking crystals thru vapouriser was a revelation - it's honestly just like breathing in warm, flavoured air, and you don't get the initial carbon monoxide head-rush - you just find yourself gradually becoming very, very high. The night I indulged in that, I ended up wandering off in completely the opposite direction from my hotel, just because the canals looked so spangly and pretty (it was november and everything was lit up with little lights)... eventually some dutch geezer cycling along with his girl on the back of his bike stopped and went "Hey, you're losht, aren't you?". When I explained where my hotel was he was like "Hey man, that'sh too far to walk, here get on the back of my bike" I looked at them like they were mad but they insisted, so his girlfriend waited in a late night cafe, while he pedalled me 3 miles across the city (still being very high, I was pretty much convinced I was being flown across the canals by some sort of angel).

So I'd just like to say thanks to a) vapourisers and b) the Dutch.

You buy this 'tumbler' thing, which is like a cloth cylinder, basically. You put all your buds in it, and freeze it somehow... then turn it round and round, and all the buds come out the bottom. Apparently some unscrupulous dealers do this, then still sell the buds as sensi. There are suppliers of the 'tumblers' all over the place, certainly in the uk, don't know about Malta... I'll see if I've still got the links somewhere...
