ooo i know, poor old dee dee

he played in brighton a few years ago - well he was doing a reading at the old concorde

mat consume and hunter played punk records in support

he came on and someone threw a glass at him

and that was that, he refused to carry on and we went home

i dont think US punks appreciate the british 'sense of humour'

I don't think old smackheads appreciate having their money-making endeavours interrupted.

I saw him play his acoustic set the day after the Brighton gig. It was very good, as far as I could tell through my cynical drunken fug.

The weird thing is that last night Mrs Knid put on the Ramones CD that she bought three months ago but hadn't got round to playing... an hour and a half later we switched on the internet and saw the sad news.

heard the news the other day from a co-worker. she said the paper mentioned that it was 3 days short of a year after Joey passed away. he played in Eugene,OR shortly after Joey's death and someone had pictures from the show and the guy looked like a zombie; chised face and sunken eyes. let's cross our fingers that we don't lose any of the Clash.
