Well, almost... There I was, browsing through a Gap store in Sheffield last weekend, only to hear Jamie Lidell being blasted through the speakers!
It's the track that he did with Lo-fi AllStars.
Bit of a shock to hear it on a Gap loop tape, but it made for a pleasant shopping experience - it's not every day you hear that voice in a clothes shop.....

who's more at fault. Lidells track for being on the piped in sound or you for being in the Gap in the first place?

1. jamie cant control where the lo-fis collaboration track he did is played
2. have you never been involved with financial transactions with any multi-nationals, or any company at all that is complicit in exploitation?
i doubt it

Hello....? I really do hope that Im not being blasted by you guys for being in the Gap.... I'm assuming Emma sent that message because I'm not actually involved in the workings of the Gap (I hope so at least...), and you - 7875 - are being quite funny with me - and not in the general "ha-ha" sence.....
So what if I was in the Gap? - I only posted the message to say that I heard Jamie's voice in a shop for gods sake, and that it made me smile to have heard it.... give a girl a break.......

although i have a Gap story as well. I heard a Djax track at the Gap once, Hexagone's 'Seabirds'. its a Ludovic Navarre track that got licensed to another label i think, but was originally on Djax-Up Beats.
how strange is that?

Your Gap shops sound like they know their stuff. Around here in Liverpool all you get is fucking Scouse-House blaring out of every shop ....
