ok kids, times is serious. The use of AG, napster et al is really making an impact on the music makers and labels we love. So, its time to give soemthing back. For the last couple of years i have been getting around 99% of my music from the net and not paying for it. Its been great. But at the washing up last night I had this awful image of cristian starving to death in barcelona, no paella, no san miguel - it was awful. And may not to far from the truth in the future. so.......
so from today onwards i am going to make a deal. I will continue to steal music and not pay up, but i will send one $100 AUD cheque to an artist whom i don't want to starve each month. The 100 bux prolly covers my direct contribution to artists in total that my music addiction would fund, but i get to try before i buy as well.
A call to arms - keeping the music makers able to pay their rent is too important to us. Take responsibility. Looks like the shops and labels may fall by the wayside, but we must support the musicians. CV - can u post a desciption of tudor's 'musician sponsorship' idea from a few years back - that was the inspiration. Now, where can i copy dungeon master from???????
