The bit about "manual labour needs to return" was a real eye-opener... it's so true - it kind of feeds into the debate about laptop live performances... it's cool to have music that's made by cerebral chinstrokers in a real clinical environment, but if music is to have significance to a wider population, it needs a bit of blood, sweat and tears in it.
