Superglue your lips together. Pretty surefire way of forcing yourself to stop smoking.

The only way to quit anything is sheer willpower, really. If you REALLY want to quit smoking, then stop smoking one day. If you don't really want to quit, you'll start again, otherwise willpower will prevail and you'll never smoke again. Work with any vice. Trust me.

A mate of mine used to be a REALLY heavy smoker (mainly because of joints) - I shared a house with him and used to get really scared by the noises he would make every morning as he cleared his throat to make ready for the first spliff of the day.

One night he did a hefty dose of acid, and decided to use his impressionable state of mind to try some brainwashing on himself. He spent about 2 or 3 hours with a bag of weed in one hand and a packet of Embassy Regal in the other, looking from one to the other, chanting "good weed - bad weed... good weed - bad weed...", then flushed the fags down the bog. He hasn't touched tobacco since, and this was like 6 or 7 years ago.

is it true or have you been on acid when you have seen this :)
smoking is good, just shit it is so expansive and causes health problems.
i need my fucking cigarette in the morning.

but one day i will give it up. :)

Stop smoking 11 months ago, with the help of a pocket book called "Ab heute Nichtraucher"...s.th. like "Of today non-smoker".
Heard that at least two people could stop with the help of that book. I tried it and it works! Even my mate Wilkmaster has stopped smoking with that help 5 or 6 months ago.
But the one and only important point is that you really want to quit smoking, than it works... best with the help of friends

What was the reason to start smoking?

I had never the need to smoke. So i save enough money for other things.

...started smoking in the age of 13. it was interested to do s.th. forbidden, new and some kind of coolness, my partents smoke too ...hehe but than it was an addiction and i wnat to stop, but cant.
Smoking cigarrettes is so senseless!!!

I started smoking cigarettes so that kissing my first girfriend (who smoked) wouldn't taste so manky, but what really got me addicted was smoking joints. It's true what they say about cannabis leading to hard drugs.

well, i smoked 12 spliffs in total... but i was fun.. hot.. by the sea... loud stereo.. etc.. but i would never smoke a cigerattes though.. that foam filters thing .. eucch! YUUQQ! ARGHT! no thanks!

damnit. 7 months of not smokin and at lost on sunday, i smoked!! grrr....so, don't know the secret then. now i really want a fag and have to go through the whole craving thing again. :(

anyhow, my grandmother smoked for 50 yrs and had accupunture and hasn't smoked a cig in almost 10 years now. so maybe try that??

hmmmm, at the super collider night in the tresor i bought three packets with cigarettes. but some crazy guys from wolfsburg smoked two from the three packets, it has saved my vital capacitiy...thank you guyz...;)

To continue V Knid's story, I had a mate as well who used his mental powers combined with an acidic high to come to the important decision that cigarrettes suk. He was a mad smoker since he was a kid, and actually stopped (true). It is a proven method for those interested. ;) but would not recommend.. I still smoke cus i feel young, but I do limit it- camel lights are good cus they have this fresh looking blue packet (with pictures), that looks really healthy.
