Bees are just a device god made for sorting the flowers out. They are essential, but no more than the earth worm.

I want a coat made out of bumble bee fur - imagine how may bees it would take to make one - I would feel very decadent lounging about in one, with an orchid in my ear and munching on a roast panda bap.

reminds me of bobby conn telling a story onstage about roasting dolphins at a beach barbecue but throwing them away because they got too charred.

These poor creatures often end up on a tuna pizza....

i love the bees knees :)
there's a huge bumblebee complex in a mound which stands next to our cathedral in wakefield. in the summer months i like to sit on that mound, and watch the little bumblebees fly out of the hidden entrances to the tunnels which lie beneath that mound. the sound on the mound is unlike any other i've ever heard. i will sample that noise when summer comes around again.
i'd like to keep bees one day.

I don't eat dolphin meat - I think it is horrible that they have to kill all those lovely tuna just to get one dolphin.

my mum keeps bees. she lives in scotland and has two hives at the bottom of her garden. apparently most bees have parasites, and commercial bee keepers use chemicals introduced into their food to control these parasites. these chemicals are not put on any honey pot labels as they are not an ingredient of the honey itself. DONT TRUST HONEY.

my friend gabriel has two hives in the bottom of her garden, and she doesn't feed the bees any chemicals, so her honey is pure!
it's not such fine honey either if there's a lack of tasty flowers for pollen, but alot of privet blossom around though, or oil-seed-rape as is the case in many urban areas, as the bees will take what they can to make the honey, and privet makes the honey green and rather watery tasting. she solved this problem by moving to the edge of town, by the fields, and growing lots of delicious flowers in the garden for them.
