excellent work, captain sql! it's always when you don't have it that you realise you miss it - i bet some people really got into depression during this period... ah home again! :D

yes, every day at work it seems easier with the board, without the board the whole working day is so boring... :)

god it was a nightmare
thursday morning, with a hangover, with las perras del infierno here to do a gig in brighton that night and loads of stuff to sort out and the board looked COMPLETELY DEAD!
cristian did not have a chance to look at it again until last night when he amazed us all...
phew....we were looking at re-building it all.
its been a week or two where a lot of things have been broken or lost. i hope that stops now!

so how was the gig/s?

gigs were awesome!!!!!
of course, every time we get a band to visit us in brighton it PISSES down with rain. the albert in brighton is a small pub venue and even though it was torrential rain the place was packed out and it was one in one out for the whole night - the girls were fantastic and won the crowd over completely.
then we went back to our house for an impromptu rave until 5 am
then the trek to 'on the rocks' in london - which was a bit hardcore with awful hangovers (mainly mine) and only 3 hours sleep.
despite a few technical problems the girls triumphed and a room full of hoxton / shoreditch rocking trucker types loved them and surprised me by lending equipment, helping to fix guitar strings etc
so today we are off to london for them to do some guest singing this afternoon and then to play at the chicks on speed gig. we've begged, borrowed and stolen equipment so fingers crossed it will be ok.
they leave tomorrow and i will need to sleep for about 37 million years but its been really amazing.
