this is what I heard...after 3 amazing gigs, in Latvia and Sweden, things took a darker twist on the 4th, with a totally useless promoter + sound engineer.... who after having nothing ready for the gig, decided they didnt have all the fees
Ibrahim Alfa, took things into his own hands and...assaulted a member of the club staff using a couple of jack leads, spat on on the club floor , verbally abused the rest of the staff and smashed a glass or two on the bar, b4 walking out after explaing to the promoter some details about his parentage that he may not have been aware of b4...
all rumours, chinese whispers...

sweden doesnt suck, it is actually a really nice place, with generally cool people, you get scummy people everywhere in the world, just seems to be a higher percentage in club offices....

i saw a report on this a few weeks ago. there were two persons like this: a man that wanted to have his right leg off down the knee if i remember right and a woman who wanted both legs off.
they consulted two different psychologists each to get the allowance to do it (they also said this was allowed few times before).
the man finally got it, also by a surgeon. but the hospital where it was about to take place had bad press on this so they refused.
the woman didn't get the allowance for the operation at all. she had been in psychological treatment for three years before and didn't even tell her wish to her doc. thought she just had to fly to britain, see the doctor, get both legs cut. a bit too blueeyed.
but isn't it great that that nature comes up with things like this? just unbelievable what power the brain can have.
