Just found out that jamie will be touring with kid 606 and some other bloke through the USA in april. Any word on what kind of music he will be doing (SC involves senior byrd, right-- so he wouldn't be doing that solo, no??)??

Yes it true
I come to the home o the big lights
(did I say homo?)
many many shows
many hours in the back of a truck, drinking in the guffs of the other boys
only two others in the car...can you guess ...
606 n gold chains...
met em here in berlin, good guys
I got drunk and told em to what out as I kick them off the stage
I felt pretty shit for mouthing off
just out to wind em up but i never really know how far to push things with folk from out stateside...need some help there.
oh and whilst i remember
seems like a good time to announce my engagement
yes I will be getting married on the road!
romantic innit!
so stay tuned as I turn out the sickness all across the us.
gonna get tshirts made got the do too
after all there's only one chance to tie the knot for prop-a
I'll be coming round the mountain
etc
etc
etc

i saw on the warp site that Super_Collider was going to open for Jeff Mills (on tour?) is this true or have i read it wrong?

that is not quite true...
super_collider are playing a show at the royal festival hall in london on may 1st. i think its something to do with sonar...anyways its with Jeff mills, Radio boy and Si Begg apparently. it may be the start of a mills tour
if you see jamie, say hello. he might appreciate some friendly faces. its lonely on the road...

Ahhhh Mr. Jamie, are you by any chance coming to Portland, Oregon? If so I will definitely have to go. Altho you've got Chicks On Speed + Le Tigre to compete with for my ticket money..

hey k.. yep, they will be here on april 12th (11th is seattle).
on the 9th, come down to the blackbird and vibe to hrvatski (DOPE producer who works around the kid606 scene, a bit).
btw- also check out the forum at www.nwtekno.org, wouldn't mind seeing more people with decent taste in music (or come down to Heaven on mondays and watch me trainwreck nofuture + assorted schematic records for an hour or s o ;).

Cool, I will check it out. can you e/m me with the deets on your DJ night? I'm looking for someplace to spin as well. ykpeate@hotmail.com
...I'll warn you tho my taste in music has become questionable. Note my love of generic japanese dance pop like Folder5. It's true, I'm a joke.

There is no Vancouver date for Lidell, 606, chains... that's not right! They are going to other Canadian cities and Seattle and Portland and vancouver is only a 3 hour drive north. yeeh, brr, grr. explanation?

I sure do hope that jaime comes to Florida,
oh wait I just realised what I said and how
improbable that is. I guess that I will have to
just play some of Jaime's records and pretend...

i wonder about the gig in the royal festival hall. i was there when coil played live. the hall doesn´t looked like a place for a big party...

no its not really is it?
im not sure how it will work...
we were there when john peel did meltdown (1997?), trash played (jamie, cristian, mat consume, matt yee king, MDK, hardy, duff paddy...err i think that was it) and they were out in the kind of foyer, all the other acts (FSK, Project Dark, The King...cant remember who else if anyone) were in the concert theatre...with everyone sitting down in their seats, very strange. that would be ok for collider but not for mills really...
talking of peelie, did anyone watch Room 101 the other night? jp mentioned mills and sonar!
