Yo Big C, it seems your What's the SP? has been subverted and adbusted by, can you f'ing believe it, of the all things -

the new Marks & Spencer menswear range...

Buses and billboards here in the UK are emblazoned with

KNOW THE SP! (http://www.marksandspencer.com/IWCatSectionView.process?IWAct ion=Load&Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=3437&Page_Count=1&RestartFlow=t)

WHAT'S THE SP? (http://www.no-future.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5260)

I love credit cards. Means I can buy stuff before payday.

Anyway, back to Marks and Sparks, do they still make the best knickers?

i have a pair of Sp trousers from st. marks and they are comfortable and stylish, though chafe ever so slightly in the crotch area.

i don't think u can miss the chance to hook up with one of britain's finest and most honourable (i'm guessing) companies here cristian... there's gotta be some distance in aligning no future with marks & sparks - imagine the discounts...

I can't speak for Mosquito, but I rather think it might simply be SPencer.

M&S are funny I saw a documentary on them buying in some new swanky food range, and the whole company seems packed to the brim with the sort of nice people you'd find attending village fetes, baking ever so exceedingly good cakes, helping out with the flowers at the local church and hosting weekly meetings of the Neighbourhood Watch...

Their clothing division has been taking a beating recently in todays oh so isn't that so well designed and modern too, that said above staff are struggling with the cut and thrust of here today-ooh I wander what's coming tomrrow-oh look its yesterday's shit with a new label disposable-guerrilla-branding of the modern consumer industry that I suspect they are left somewhat bewildered and doubtless at the mercy of several top design agency, up for selling them dignity with zajazz for a hectic brave new world...

The term 'SP' comes from the betting world... Do't know what the initials stand for, but it's along the same lines as knowing 'the coup', 'the deal' or 'the score'...

SP is of course short for Socialist Party - All the guys at Mosquito's _and_ M&S are gently trying to let us all know that they are actually Stalinists, all of them ^_^
