Ok I take back everything I said about the Killa Hertz album - everything on it sounds like total pansy music compared to this dirty fucker. Dillinja has really overdone himself here... releasing the beast from within the not too bad but a bit busy Jaxx original. Dizzee screams, proving himself to be without a shadow of a doubt the most ROCK vocalist around right now (strangely Lydonesque too), and the bass does the biggest drops since the Twin Towers. The lyrics are paranoid, demented, angry and celebratory in equal measures. The dub on the flip just takes a few snatches of his grunting shouting and squealing and spins them over the beats alongside mentasm noises and analogue squalls. There's a great bit where someone - presumably Dizzee - does some really weedy beatboxing, and huge nasty bass notes steamroller right across the top of it then the beat kicks in bigger than ever. It's a big fucking epic furious monstrosity of a track and I love it very much. Apparently Dillinja and Lemon D's Valve Soundsystem have a new monthly night in London. I am, as they say, SO there.
I give this big dirty beast Jaxx/Dizzee/Dillinja
