Nah, fearing that humankind's obsession with age might actually be the cause of each of us to slip off this mortal coil, I made a New Year's resolution to forget how old I am, the theory being that with no age to guage myself against - I won't fall foul of acting out my part in accepted theory of what you should do and when, and thus live a lot longer than everyone else.

Which is easier than it actually sounds, forgetting how old you are - I regularly forget my age. Of course you have your DOB to fall back on, but I'm making a conscious effort to ignore thinking about it - I know I've spammed up the logical part of my brain, so if I simply don't think of the numbers involved I can't actually work out my age.

Hey, the first step (and possibly the last) on the road to delusion is surely deluding yourself...

Nah, I checked that, and there is no DOB in the user profile or in the registration process - leading me to think that the DOB is a throwback to one of the earlier incarnations of the boards, and consequently only people who registered back when the DOB was part of the registration process...
