Last Wednesday night at the Jazz Rooms, Brighton, the box was firmly rocked. I am still reeling from the shock of it... most importantly the fact that it was a crowd that was more female than male rocking out bigtime to extreme experimental music, courtesy of DJ Knid, the man like Barry Pseudonym, Grunda and friends... among the tracks that kept the mentalists on the dancefloor were Cannibal Ox, Techno Animal, MDK, Ride, Sid Vicious, Super_Collider, Lee Marvin, DJ Assault, and weirdest of all a 20 minute 1 chord jam by the Boredoms! It has refreshed my faith in wonky music as capable of provoking mass FUN. Roll on the next installment!

Very sorry Emma - it was organised by a certain Disastronaut without telling anyone till the last minute. I only went (not expecting that much) when he was called off to the USA at the last minute.
