New maps? Not seen those before though they are a tad dark so I could just be mistaken.

Airstrikes are pants anyway, arty support is much better I find since it's sustained and can really hamper enemy movements for a minute or so, especialy once you get them upgraded so they last longer/do more damage.

true - but your fellow players tend to ignore artillery smoke and walk just into the strikes that go on for quite some time - and then they file a complaint! 8-\

this map is a bit too small for artillery anyway, it's a conversion of the rtcw-classic "base". a lot of great custom maps came out for ET (temple2, fliegerhorst, church, flakcannon,...)- i only play those now because i'm quite fed up with the 6 originals after many hours of playing.

well, i don't know. he's one of the very few persons that can do anything they want and will allways get away with it. no matter what he does or says, the yellow press folks will allways remain licking his ass cos they just know how much they need him. hell he could rape a nun in the middle of town and 'Bild' would still declare it as the new big thing.

be aware though, there's a lot of betas of some maps flying around - make sure to get the latest versions (finals, if possible) or you'll be incompatible with servers.
