Those interested in the whole British WMD/Iraqi Dossier/David Kelly shenanigans, http://www.the-hutton-inquiry.org.uk/ is a great read. Most of the stuff available there under Evidence would usually be sealed for 30 years under OSA.
http://www.the-hutton-inquiry.org.uk/content/cab/cab_11_0023to0024.pdf - a great example of spin in action. Not sexed up, oh no.
Also, for those who were wondering about the WMD 45-minute claim, apparently, they were meaning that Saddam could order light weapons like mortars and such like in 45 minutes. Not really sure how they come under WMDs, though.

"- the foreword is good but whose voice is it? Do we need a minister to sign it off? Probably not Who will
issue the text9 Us? The Cabinet Office? Why don't we issue it in the name of the JIC [Joint Intelligence Committee]? Makes it more
interesting to the media,"
mmm...

wot I find odd is that kelly apparently said shortly before his death that he was going to be found dead in the woods, and therefore find it hard to believe that he took his own life. Do you think tony ordered his execution and they made it look like suicide?

regardless wether he really said this or not (such odd circumstances often spawn the strangest rumors), I found the timing of this incident highly dubious...

I think he said this because he was considering killing himself, so he knew where he was going to be found. Most people thought when he said it that he was being paranoid about being lynched or whatever, but in hindsight, he probably just knew what he planned to do.

War, Lies & Dossiers...
Just heard the Sky news re of Tony Blair's evidence - hahaha the actor they got in was quite a lot younger than Tony, and looked really camp - live from Camp Blair...
Old Tony managed to speak solidly all morning and say nothing of any substance - other than when the news broke that Alistair had inserted the bit about WMDs being ready to launch in 45mins, they clearly spent the whole weekend running around like headless chickens, going
"Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck, what have you done Alistair, oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck...."

This is the best image ever. I bet it was waving his hands around in the air, too.

The solution to any incident is to send in George Mason and Jack Bauer, officialy the hardest mother fuckers in the world.
