'Supp everyone?
Just stumbled onto this board and see a lot of familiar 'names' from various places - I'm sure some of us will get to have have pretentious arguments about DJs and compare 12"s before too long but in the meantime just wanted to big a few things up....
Firstly, I shall be spinning with Grant, Jerome & Co. @ Ugly Funk on 17th ,so if ya get a chance come and say "Hi"!
Also the following week(24.05.02), my crew and I are launching our new night(See listings) hope a few of ya'll will come down for a taster of our brand of noize!
Peace.

P.S. anyone checkin' Mills/Begg/Supercollider/Radioboy tonight and fancies meeting some fellow freaks, we shall be congregating to the left of the main bar in the RFH. I dare say you'll recognise a few faces although they may not be as twisted as you may be used to! ; )

(Hmmmm... I somehow think that this is not what would generally be deemd a 'respectable' neighbourhood - not if the people that I DO know are anything to go by...Hehehehe!)
Cheers!!! Glad you enjoyed 'most' of it, but ya have intrigued me so bring on the criticism - It's always nice to get a response good or bad....
If ya in da 'hoos' on the 17th come and say "hi" :D
Yo EMEF: It's nice to be here - Nothing like a swim around new waters ; )

I was thinking i would like to go, and i would say Hi if I did, wouldnt mind hearing Subhead.
BTW we had plenty of crit talk on the Overload forum, I'm using a different name now, its all meant as usfull crit and not a dig!!!
I think truthfullness is often needed, but Ive been told off recently so I'm trying not to be so cold with it, hehe
It was just the scratching thats all, not really up to par...but anyway you were having fun, the audiance was having fun...I was having fun! Its not like I was standing there saying Oh he's wack or anything, more like I was standing there thinking thats Haz from the forums i go on, but i'm not sure, shall I go say hi, oh oh, he looks too busy and dont want to look like a groupy or anything.
I was gonna say hi to emef, I feel bad I didnt, but it was just like you all new each other and I just felt a bit of a lemon at the time.
So how did I work out you was hazel, well your name was on the flyer so I was looking out for likey candit's, then you started droping some hip hop here and there and thats what did it.

Hahaha - A 'Robot in disguise' eh Delinquent?
Far from offended about the scratchin' - Like I say, it's nice to get a bit of feedback(especially off the needles - 'Screeeetch'!). To be honest, the last thing i'd claim to be was a scratch DJ(However playing on a 'FisherPrice' mixer was a rather large hinderence that night - No EQ, No Gain and no output monitor)!. Plenty of Boogie-down influence, but I just haven't got the wrist action - Must try harder!
Hope to see ya next week....
:) :( :! :D ;) :-p lol 8-() :illin: - Total Confusion!!!!

Not sure what the mixer was to be honest, not too up on kit/gadgets and gismos - T'was a box with a fader & headphone port.... It did the necessary but just slowed me down a bit, y'know....
