I was told today that richie hawtin died in the uk last weekend.
I think that it is a full on lie since he apparently over dosed.
I find that hard to believe. I think that this is just another rumour
akin to him passing in a car wreck 2 years ago.
anyone with info please help shed some light on these bollocks.

the fact that the fire extinguisher failed to interfere with laptop,909,final scratch etc seems to confirm my theory of the modern hawtin set : namely that the entire thing comes from a 4hr premixed mp3 disc of bangin minimal choons modulated by an enormous gearstick-like master volume control.

It is likely that he was dead and being operated by remote control in order to avoid a massive refund problem. The system probably malfunctioned and caused him to grasp the fire extinguisher instead of the giant gearstick resulting in pandemoneum on stage as the bouncers frantically tried to bring him under control.
