ok, most people couldn´t give two shits about it. i prefer dickinson over di´anno. bruce was certainly more dynamic methinks. paul just doesn´t have the range. bruce is an opera singer, for crying out loud...could be taken as pointagainst him, but that make him more exciting and theatrical. and maiden matured and reached thier peak with dickinson...ok, di´anno was the first singer and people hate changes, he wasn´t named bruce and he didn´t release a solo album called "tattooed love boys"... bruce is still the better one.

difficult one the best two albums they did were killers (diannos last) and number of the beast (dickinsons first)
personally i always thought dianno was the best as he gave the rawness to it all
dickinson whilst he can sing i feel is a little too polished for a heavy metal band
Mmmm Number of the Beast defo!

Though 'Iron Maiden' and 'Killers' are excellent albums, and though Di'Anno's voice does lend a punky rawness to the sound, my favourite Maiden stuff is the totally overblown pompous sound of Powerslave, for which Dickinson's ludicrous screaming is far better suited, so I have voted for Broooooooooooooooce. Plus, of course he was an olympic-standard fencer, which is ideal for a metal god.
Talking of adventurous metal gods, I was shocked to discover recently that Dave Lee Roth is in the gays. Then I had a little think and realised that wasn't so surprising at all.

Got to be Dickinson- Just the opening song on 'Piece of Mind'- isn't it 'Where Eagles dare'? those Dickinson power vocals come out & he should get the vote anyway for getting kicked out of school for pissing on the headmaster's peas.

Oh yeah, talking of metal gods who are in the gays, this guy I know met Rob Halford out of Judas Priest recently. Apparently Rob has "metal god" written on his business cards.
