save yourself the money by covering yourself in shit, sitting in the rain and listening to a stereo from a distance of 300m.

If you walk around the fence for a few minutes you will be able to buy a fake pass from a nice liverpudlian or mancunian man for around £20, guaranteed.

I'm hoping there is going to be a travellers field this year, there are usually loads of sound systems including ourselves.

not going this year or ever again, too much liek hard work for me now, but...
I will say of all the times I have been I have NEVER EVER paid for a ticket,
like Knid said it is pretty basic to get over the fence, every year they claim that they have made the fence "UNBEATABLE" but it is bulll.

I have actually pretended to have a stamp on my hand when I didn't at all, they looked at it under the UV light, mumbled for a bit and then said ok!

yeah they say that they spend £1 mill on a fence this year - but really people will figure something out i am sure. and although they say there isn't gonna be a travellers field, i really doubt that. the police will have their hands full with the festival, and it's a hell of a lot easier to just give us a field. (at least i hope so)

Why didn't you buy your ticket in advance, eh? Silly boy. Buy your tickets as soon as you can, then you'll get one.

Since if you buy a ticket to the show but for some reason cannot go, you can sell it for £200 on ebay.

I'll keep an eye out if anyone's selling and let you know.

without wanting to sound like a stick in the Gastonbury Mud but I 'm not sure if hoppin over the fence is a good idea anymore. Maybe its cos I now live in the west country or summat. Thing is, if Glastonbury overcrowds - it breaks legal health & safety regulations and will never be allowed to be held again. There is even a possibility that Michael Eavis will be criminally prosecuted as he 's taken legal responsibility. The Mean Fiddler involvement is shit but they were Eavis's only option. Maybe I'm getting old, this new found pious social morality thing is quite tedious....but... Glastonbury is quite a good thing and Eavis is quite a nice man

He's nice alright but the question here is- will they tolerate the traveller's field? nobody seems very sure

The thing is, I think he is all up for the travellers field, but if it gets any complaints he has to deny that there is one.

apparently the fence is SUPER HARDCORE this year: 30 foot high, 6 foot underground, with landmines, laser cannons and mutant guard dogs with the heads of giant vipers. or something.

anyway i've got my ticket. a much better west country jumping option seems to be the essential festival dance day at ashton court this saturday.
