latency

hello..!!
anybody can help me, i have a electribe es1 running under LAp 5.10, and a pulsar card, and he make me a 8 ms midi latency, if i adjust the delay at 8 in my midi tracks all is ok...
anybody know why..

8ms is a good latency.....you should be able to play very well in time with a latency like that.

yeah... 8ms is workable... dont complain.., zero latency is as far as I know only available with RME solutions (www.rme-audio.com) or of course pro tools
