Mr Venetian Snares has surpassed himself with his remix of "Skelechairs" by Doormouse on Planet Mu. It ROCKS.

no no no nooooo! VS has a totally different production style and a much better sense of humour than Alec Empire - he has as much in common with Kid 606 / LSR or Squarepusher as he does with any DHR artists.
Talking of Empire, there was an excellent review of the new album in Wire, where they rightly pointed out that if he was to lighten up for a second and admit that he's a regular tosser like anyone else THEN he could be treated like the new Iggy that he so obviously wants to be. God that would be great... I mean, the new album (whisch is fanfuckingtastic) should hopefully open up new rock audiences to him, but if he stopped trying to be an ubermensch 24/7 and admitted that his music is dumb-fuck punk, I swear the world would be his oyster and he could actually wield the power he craves. It's one of them zen paradox things.

Sure, his sounds are very distrorted and fast, but for me Venetian Snares is the modern type of Mr. Beethoven:) I think he really understands to put his feelings into the music!

Oh piss, you're right, it does run out of ideas toward the end - it was only half downloaded when I put the original post. I still love it though, and will hug it all night.

Don't understand really what you mean! Do you like the stuff by Dj Peadofile?
To his time , beethoven was also be seen as a really crazy guy, who makes too distorted sounds!Maybe or maybe not you'll see it in the future what I mean....

oh yeah, has anyone heard Atari Teenage Riot
Live at the brixton academy 1999.
it's just pretty much white noise and distortion.
not an album I listen to a lot but when I am in the
mood it really does the trick.

Paedophile is definitely some of the finest music ever committed to vinyl; however that doesn't detract from Venetian Snares' artistry and individuality.
The Alec Empire album is called Intelligence And Sacrifice, and is fabulously punk. He's already had a UK top 40 single from it!!!!! It's a weird world.
