thought I would let everyone know that I am back. I was injured in a car accident a few weeks ago and was in the hospital for a bit. but I am on the mend. hope you guys didn't have too much fun without me. talk to you all later.

I've often wondered that, actually. What would happen if I died. All my friends around where I live would know, but everyone I know and speak to on the internet would never be the wiser.

They would never find out what happened to me, totally up in the air. It makes me feel a bit strange, since I've made some really close friends thanks to the internet, but they'd never know if I ceased to be.

Would anyone even notice?

eerr..there was never a BIG board meeting.....but there was the idea of doing a NF board party which sadly seemed be dead !??
i luckily live in germany and met a lot of people from the board a) because they live in germany as well b)artists that played a gig in germany c) they came for a visit to germany in case of different reasons i guess..........and most of the people i met were pretty cool boys'n'girls ;)

My job is too boring and interesting to mention here. It certainly don't enjoy it. I'm currently writing a book, though, and if all goes according to plan, and I am very very lucky, in 6 months, I might be able to say that I am a writer.

I am getting good reviews from friends of mine who've read what I've got so far, though, so perhaps this is my calling... here's hoping, eh?

thanks for everyones kind words. no my avatar is not really my leg. I don't have any copies of my x-rays. although I did get a nice tibial compound fracture. similar to henrik larssons. (for those who know).
I also received a dislocated right shoulder. several broken ribs and a nice concussion to boot. it has been a very sureal experience. the car crash happened in super slow motion and I swear I can almost pin point when each of the injuries occured. but I will be ok in a little while. just not a nice way to start off a new year since it happened a few days after my birthday.

hey Sheridan, good to hear you are allright. hope it doesn't hurt so much anymore.

can you still smell the airbag? i've had a car accident last year and i still have that smell in my nose. but the memories of what happend - the slowmotion parts - blured pretty fast.

but it was a bit nasty to step into a car once again, especially since it wasn't my fault, a guy lost traction in a curve and slided inside me. i still get a bit panic when i see someone in the other lane coming at me with to much speed since then..

on the smell of airbags - some guy working at a airbag factory once got one of those charges that blast open the airbag stuck in his nose during some kind of factory mishap - the charges detonate when they get into contact with air so they had to operate them out of him with his head submersed in water... the point of my story is: it could've been worse lol

thanks again guys for everyones good wishes. as far as the airbag goes there wasn't one. I was a passanger in a acura integra and my friend had his driverside airbag disabled. and there wasn't a passanger one. which kind of explains some of my injuries I suppose. we were on the highway going about 70-75 mph when this guy cut us off and clipped the front of the car. sending us into a spin where we subsequently where hit head on by another car. that is what gave me the concussion and the dislocated shoulder. then we spun some more and cut across a few lanes of traffic and got hit again on my side which is what gave me the broken leg and ribs. thankfully the bone didn't break entirely through the skin so I didn't need any surgery or any plates and rods put in. but yes I do have a cast on for about another 8-10 weeks I think. it depends on how fast my healing goes. but in any case I am stuck at home for a while so no going out and no record shopping. :( :( :(
oh well. I should be able to hobble around in a little while.

You know, someone should set up a virtual cast. Dunno if possible in flash, but they could do it so people can autograph an online version of the cast, for your friends who cannot be with you. And then look at what everyone else has written.
