well over here in the uk we have been blessed today with some real great weather. i was wondering if any of you guys were doing any thing exciting with it .


today i will be writing a combernation of acid house and raga then off to leistershire with my girl for the weekend .

My friend is putting a drum & bass and techno/electro party on in Portsmouth tonight, so me and some friends are driving down from London. Apparently its at a nice venue at the end of a pier. Jerome and Dexorcist are playing in one room, and I think grooverider and total science in the d&b room.

never know what flavour to expect from Weatherall...
SubDub are reported to be excellent and have been established at Leeds West Indian Centre for the last 5 years...full report after the weekend!

weatherall in the Garden was superb! arrived at Stinky's Peephouse, whereover three-floors the uppermost dancefloor is made from glass, and the floor below has a balcony immediately in front of the dj-booth, from where u can peep to the lower floor, which leads into the garden.

the venue was packed. we waited a while in the queue, with the strains of electro escaping the wooden warehouse doors of the fire exit. we finally got into the venue with some 40 mins to go before Andy Weatherall was scheduled, and after buying oour drinks at he short downstairs bar, took our drinks immediately into the Garden to acclimatise. the sounds of Superconductor were piped through speakers into the enclosed garden, and we chilled and chatted for w while before going upstairs in time to witness one of the superconductor residents hit the crowd with New Ordr's Blue Monday..the effect of this surprise sent the audience pogo-ing upwards in unison and simultaneously vocalising their appreciation !...i hope u get the idea of what happened at that moment :) it was quite awesome...
Andy Weatherall gave everyone a grooving...he played some really big bassy sounds for a short time my bones were vibrating everywhere..but i find it hard to describe his set really, as he kept it moving so fluidly..i was dancing not chin scratchin anyway..my friends and i had a great time. a friend took a picture of everyone dancing to Blue Monday i'll try to persuade them to part with it.
